Terms of Service
1. Who we are
RoadTests.ca is operated by Skyline Europe Limited (“RoadTests”, “we”), a company registered in England and Wales under number 14853892, whose registered office is 5 Brayford Square, London, England, E1 0SG. We are an independent appointment booking and monitoring service for Ontario road tests. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Ontario Ministry of Transportation, DriveTest, Serco, or any government agency. Using our service is optional; every appointment we book can also be booked directly and without charge at drivetest.ca.
2. The service
On payment, we (a) book the earliest available road test appointment matching your preferences on your own DriveTest file, where you do not already hold one, and (b) monitor continuously for appointments inside your chosen date window and centres, rescheduling your booking when a matching earlier appointment becomes available. All bookings are made in your name, on your file, using credentials you provide.
3. Your date window and centres
You control the date window, the test centres, and your contact preferences, and may change them at any time from your dashboard. Changes take effect immediately. We never reschedule you to a date outside your window, and we never make any change within 48 hours of a scheduled test without your explicit confirmation.
4. Fees and what they include
The price shown at checkout is the whole price, in Canadian dollars, and is shown before payment. It includes our service and, where applicable to your test type, the arrangement of the applicable government examination fee as part of your order. There are no additional or recurring charges. A full breakdown of the components of your price is available on request.
5. Refunds
If no appointment inside your date window is booked at your chosen centres before the window closes, your payment is refunded in full, without deduction, to the original payment method — no form, no argument. Refunds are issued within 5 business days of the window closing or of your written request, whichever is earlier.
6. Ontario's reschedule limit
Ontario suspends a driver's access to online booking after three cancellations or reschedules within six months. We track this budget, display it on your dashboard, and will not spend a reschedule on any appointment outside your window. You are responsible for reschedules or cancellations you make yourself outside our service.
7. Your credentials
To operate, we require your driver's licence number and its expiry date. We use them solely to view and manage road test bookings on your DriveTest file. They are held on encrypted storage in a restricted table, every access is logged, they are never sold or shared, and they are deleted within 30 days of your service ending — immediately on request. You may revoke our access at any time from your dashboard; revocation takes effect immediately.
8. What we do not do
We do not resell appointments, hold appointments without a named customer, guarantee specific dates or outcomes, provide driving instruction, or represent any government body. We cannot influence test content, examiners, or results.
9. Your responsibilities
You confirm the details you provide are accurate and belong to you (or that you have the account holder's authority — for example, a parent acting for a minor). You remain responsible for attending your test, meeting DriveTest's requirements on the day, and any government fees arising from missed tests or late cancellations you cause.
10. Service limits and availability
Appointment availability is controlled by DriveTest and changes second to second; monitoring is provided on an “as is” basis. If DriveTest materially changes its systems in a way that prevents us providing the service, we will notify you and refund any customer whose window has not been fulfilled.
11. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Ontario law, our total liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid us. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002, or other law that cannot be contracted out of.
12. Changes, termination and contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified to your contact address before they take effect, and continued use after notice constitutes acceptance. You may end the service at any time from your dashboard. Contact: help@roadtests.ca. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it, and nothing in them removes the protection Ontario law gives you as a consumer, notwithstanding that we are established in the United Kingdom.
