Refund Policy
1. The core promise
Your payment is refunded in full — every dollar, to the original payment method — if no appointment inside your date window is booked at your chosen centres before the window closes. No form is required and no reason will be asked for.
2. Cancelling before we book anything
You may cancel at any time from your dashboard. If we have not yet booked you any appointment, the refund is full — even if monitoring has been running for weeks.
3. After an appointment is booked
Once an appointment inside your window is secured on your DriveTest file, the service is delivered and the fee is earned. If you no longer want the appointment, cancel it more than 48 hours before the test and the booking is released without penalty from DriveTest — but the service fee is not refunded.
4. If you widen or narrow your window
You may change your date window at any time. The refund promise always applies to your current window: if it closes with nothing booked inside it, you are refunded in full. Narrowing a window to an unfulfillable range and immediately claiming a refund is treated as a cancellation under section 2.
5. Government fees
Where a government examination fee was arranged as part of your order and DriveTest has not consumed it (no test attended, no late cancellation), it is returned as part of your refund. Fees consumed by DriveTest — for example through a missed test or a cancellation within 48 hours that you directed — cannot be recovered by us or anyone.
6. Timing
Refunds are issued within 5 business days of your window closing or your request, whichever is earlier. Your bank may take a further 3–5 business days to post the credit. If a refund has not appeared within 10 business days, contact us and we will trace it with the processor.
7. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002, or any other law that cannot be contracted out of. Where this policy and the law differ, the more protective rule applies.
